About Us

Drive Wines was started by John Musto and Tom Young. Aspiring winemakers who honed their craft in the vineyards, wineries, and classrooms of Sonoma County. Inspired by their surroundings, they craft single vineyard wines through passion and grit. Drive Wines is a Penngrove based boutique winery that focuses on quality small batch winemaking, total production is less than 15 barrels per year. Our 2 person team handles all aspects of the process allowing us to ensure the highest quality wine at the best possible value. 2023 was a good year as numerous wines produced by Drive received high ratings from Wine Enthusiast. Our 2021 Pinot Noir received "Editors Choice" with a 94 point score along with 93 points each for our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2021 Syrah.
