The Community Voice

About Us

The Community Voice was established February 3, 1993. In 2003, the founder of Shah Family LLC, Yatin Shah, acquired the newspaper from Sonoma Index-Tribune Corporation. Since then, Yatin and his family have been the proud owners of The Community Voice newspaper.

The Community Voice is published to provide a fair, accurate, objective and honest voice for the community, its leaders, and businesses; leadership that contributes to the betterment of our community; information that reflects our community in everything we do.

We will continuously serve as the leading information source while never compromising our principles by exercising our role of seeking practical solutions and protecting those living within our communities of Rohnert Park (94928), Cotati (94931) and Penngrove (94951) and since September 2020 Sebastopol community (94972).

The Community Voice is an adjudicated newspaper of general circulation in accordance with the laws of California by decree number 207762 of the Superior Court of Sonoma County, dated August 22, 1994 and qualified for publication of matters required by law to be published in a newspaper. On August 8, 2008 decree 242968 was granted by the Superior Court of California to be the newspaper of general circulation for the city of Rohnert Park, California.
