BluDog Rooter & Plumbing Co

About Us

BluDog Rooter & Plumbing Co. is a family-owned business proudly serving Sonoma County with reliable plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer repairs, water heaters, and honest, quality service.

BluDog Rooter & Plumbing started with a simple idea: build a local plumbing company people can trust to show up, communicate clearly, and do the job right.

Gareth’s path into the trades began in Northern England, where he left high school at 16 and trained as a journeyman bricklayer at Carillion Craft Training. After working around his hometown, he set off with friends on a one-way trip to Australia, where he spent the next two years living and working across the country. It was outside Adelaide, in the seaside suburb of Glenelg, where Gareth met Emily. She had followed her own path to Australia, and before long, the two began building a life together.

Eventually, Gareth and Emily returned to Sonoma County, where they settled down, started a family, and began putting down roots in the community. Gareth transitioned into plumbing, gaining years of hands-on experience before the two launched Yorkshire Plumbing & Drain Services. What started as a family business focused on honest, reliable plumbing service has now evolved into BluDog Rooter & Plumbing.

The name may be new, but the people, values, and commitment behind the company remain the same. Today, Gareth, Emily, and the BluDog team continue serving Sonoma County with the same straightforward approach, now with an even stronger focus on responsive service and being there when customers need help most.
