DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to be celebrating this evening with you!\n\n \n\nPlease join us Saturday\, August 26\, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Pavillion at Richard's Grove La Crema Estates & Saralee's Vineyard in Windsor.\n\n \n\nThe Annual BBQ is our largest fundraiser of the year and the money raised will be used to continue our mission to provide youth project grants\, scholarships\, and maintain the youth Center in Rohnert Park.\n\n \n\nThe evening will include a fabulous barbecue dinner by Lombardi's Catering and dessert by Screaming Mimi's\; Silent Auction\; Live Auction\, with Nick Pruett as our Auctioneer\; Live Music by Court 'n' Disaster\; local beer and wine and 4-H Club project displays.\n\n \n\nThis year we are honoring Tom Parsons as our 2023 Shining Star Award recipient.  Tom Parsons\, a longtime director and past president of the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation who is a driving force in advancing Sonoma County's 4-H and FFA programs\, is the 2023 recipient of the Shining Star Award. The Shining Star Award\, given by the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County\, recognizes a person who has made significant contributions to the foundation and the county's youth programs. For more than 20 years\, Tom has donated time and talent to develop the next generation of leaders in agriculture and the community.\n\n \nAlso\, we are honoring Rex Williams as our 4-H Alumni Recognition Award recipient.  Rex Williams\, the Sebastopol rancher and auctioneer who has been actively involved in 4-H most of his life\, first as a member\, then as 4-H parent\, leader and tireless champion\, is the 2023 recipient of the 4-H Alumni Recognition Award. The annual award\, given by the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County\, honors a former 4-H Club member who continues to uphold the values of leadership\, citizenship and community service that are the hallmarks of the 4-H program.  Rex fits that profile on all counts. For decades he has been a familiar fixture at fairs and fund-raisers where he donates his time and auctioneering talents to benefit agricultural youth and the community. \n\n\n\nTickets are on sale now!
