Please SHARE to spread the word.\n\n\n\nSAFETY: There are many concerns with the homeless camp right across the street from Roberts Lake and I have teamed up with the Rohnert Park Police Department and they will have many officers at the fishing derby making sure everyone is SAFE! FISHING DERBY + RP POLICE = FUN DAY FOR FAMILIES\n\n\n\nSCHEDULE: 7AM to 8AM Registration * Of course the Active 20/30 club with have Hot Chocolate and their World Famous Snow Cones. Nothing says fishing more then fishing at 8am with a Snow cone. : ) * Hessel Church suppling us with the Coffee. 8AM Fishing Derby starts 10AM Fishing derby ends 10:15AM Awards\n\n\n\nSUPPLIES: All you need to do is bring a fishing pole\, hooks and bait. If you don't know how to rig up a fishing pole\, just bring the pole\, as myself and other volunteers will help you rig it up. But you are not guaranteed to catch a fish\, that is why it is called "FISHING" and not "CATCHING". But we can help set up your pole to give you a better chance. Just ask the registration table for help with your pole.\n\n\n\nRECLAIMED WATER: Roberts Lake is Reclaimed water\, so you should never eat any fish that comes out of the lake. We encourage "Catch and Release" after weighing in your fish.\n\n\n\nFISHING AREA: NO FISHING ON THE GOLF COURSE SIDE OF THE LAKE.
