DESCRIPTION:By January 1\, 2020\, all employers with five or more employees must provide at least 1 hour of harassment prevention training to all employees\, and 2 hours to supervisors.\n\n\n\nThe Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local\, experienced employment law attorney\, Jay G. Putnam\, Attorney at Law\, to offer Chamber members affordable mandatory sexual harassment in-person training.\n\n\n\nBenefits to in-person training are distraction-free time where trainees can really absorb the material without interruptions\, are more likely to be engaged with the material and can ask specific questions. \n\n\n\nAll participants will be provided individual certificates of completion.\n\n\n\nEmployers\, you will be in compliance with the new training requirements\, thus promoting a safe workplace with dignity and respect for all employees and third parties. This training will insulate you and your supervisors against workplace claims and lawsuits. \n\n\n\nWatch for additional training offered throughout 2019.
