What makes this mural particularly special is that it includes landmarks\, representations\, and symbols from multiple countries such as the United States\, Middle East\, Pacific Islanders\, Latin America\, Mexico\, Guatemala\, El Salvador\, Peru\, etc. All contributed by our own students from these countries.\n\n\n\nThe Mexican Consulate will be performing the famous "El Grito\," a passionate cry for independence and will conduct a flag ceremony\, which is typically only done by the Mexican President\, Ambassador\, or Consul.\n\n\n\nWhy September 23rd?\n\nSeptember 23rd is a date of immense historical importance as it coincides with the celebration of independence in Latin American countries. It is a day that symbolizes freedom\, resilience\, and the rich heritage of our Latin American students and community members.
